Clean Energy
comes from conversion of matter into energy
To bring every country into the 21st Century requires 300 trillion kilowatt hours (280 for Electrification and Modernization Sectors plus 20 trillion kilowatt hours for the Exploration of Space. Clean Energy supplies seventy percent; Green Energy supplies five percent; and Carbon Energy supplies the remaining twenty-five percent.
The new generation of clean energy and process plants convert matter into energy according to the mass times the speed of light squared or Einstein’s equation: E = mc2. The technology is based on over fifty years of research and development at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory, and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
Twenty-four manufacturing facilities are built to assemble sixteen thousand thorium and uranium conversion plants, which will meet the energy needs for ten billion people. The manufacturing facilities are similar to Boeing’s manufacturing facilities that assemble thousands of airplanes in Everett, Washington.
The Thorium Conversion Plants and Uranium Conversion Plants produce thermal energy for generating trillions of kilowatts of electricity and making trillions of dollars of industrial, commercial and consumers products from coal, oil, biomass and natural gas rather than burning them and destroying our environment.
Each 2,400 Megawatt conversion plant produce 20 billion kilowatt-hours of thermal energy. The plants contain ten standard 250 megawatt standard modules. Each modules converts 40 grams of matter into 2 billion kilowatt hours of thermal energy or ten modules convert 400 grams (mass in two rolls of nickels) into 20 billion kilowatt hours. The modules are shipped in railroad cars, barges, or ships to the construction sites.
For generation of electricity, the plants are 50% efficient and generate 10 billion kilowatt hours of electricity. Each 250 megawatt module generates 1 billion kilowatt hour of electricity. The plant’s thermal energy are 80% efficient and produces an estimated 16 billion kilowatt hours of process energy for making products. Each 250 megawatt module produces 1.6 billion kilowatt hour of useful thermal energy. Each conversion plant can be composed of any combination of power or process modules.
Initial Phase: United States, European Union, and the Russian Federation each builds two manufacturing facilities that assemble one hundred 2,400-megawatt (thermal) power or process plant annually. Electricity for operating the manufacturing facility is provided with one 125-megawatt (electric) demonstration module, which generates one billion kilowatt-hours of electricity.

European Union builds one manufacturing facilities for assembling clean power and process plants standard 250 megawatt Thorium Conversion modules and another facility for assembling clean power an process plants with standard 250 megawatt Uranium Conversion modules.
Russian Federation builds one manufacturing facilities for assembling clean power plants with standard 250 megawatt Thorium Conversion modules and another facility for assembling clean power and process plants with standard 250 megawatt Uranium Conversion modules.
Each country assembles 100 clean plants per year, which generate 1 trillion-kilowatt hours of electricity or 2 trillion kilowatt hours of thermal energy. The one hundred power and process plants are sold for $100 billion and generate $100 billion in annual revenues from selling the electricity for ten cents per kilowatt hour or thermal energy for five cents per kilowatt hour.
Second Phase: United States, European Union, and Russian Federation help the People’s Republic of China, Republic of India, Small Asian Nations, African Union plus North, Central and South America build an additional eighteen manufacturing facilities. Each manufacturing faculty assembles one Thorium 2,400-megawatt power or process plant per week or fifty per year.
People’s Republic of China, Republic of India, Small Asian Nations build twelve manufacturing facilities for assembling six hundred clean power and process plants with ten standard Thorium 250 megawatt modules.
African Union plus North, Central and South America build four manufacturing facilities for assembling two hundred clean power and process plants with ten standard Thorium 250 megawatt modules.
United States, European Union and Russian Federation have built and safely operated Uranium Power Plant, which recycled nuclear power plant’s spent fuel for over thirty years. The reason that clean power and process plants aren’t operating today is politics, environments, and lobbyists. Today, the gold plated designs are uneconomical to build and operate. The Clean Energy Act would enable clean power and process plants to be assembled and operated economically.
Third Phase: United States, European Union, and Russia Federation proceed with the Exploration of Space. Mirror Energy converts matter directly into energy according to the mass times the speed of light squared or Einstein’s equation: E = mc2. Mirror Energy generates electricity or propulsion for space flight.
Airplanes use milligrams rather than thousands of tons of fuel. Mirror Power and process plants are an alternative to Thorium and Uranium power plants. A standard 125 megawatt Mirror power modules generates 1 billion kilowatt hours of electricity from 20 grams or the mass of four American nickels.
Shuttlecrafts take millions of people to International Space Stations or Love Boats in the Sky in minutes. The space stations use the standard 125 megawatt Mirror modules generates 1 billion kilowatt hours of electricity.
Spacecraft will take millions of people to communities on the Moon in hours and Mars in days and in starship to the stars in weeks. The communities use the standard 125 megawatt Mirror modules generates 1 billion kilowatt hours of electricity.
